Carz Inc ("Carz Inc," "we," "our," or "us") is a used vehicle dealership located at 5095 Covington Way, Memphis, TN 38134. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect information when you use our website and app at carzinc.ai, including our vehicle marketplace, buyer accounts and employee tools (the "Service"), and when you receive text messages from us.
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service:
Mobile information is never shared for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories above exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Our sign-up page (carzinc.ai/signup) has a separate, optional checkbox for each of our two text programs. Neither is pre-checked, and agreeing is not a condition of creating an account or buying a vehicle. You can change either later under Account → Text messages. When you opt in you receive a confirmation text. Separately, when you sign in we text a one-time security code to the number you entered, because you asked for it.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will get one confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or email support@carzinc.ai. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages. Full program terms are at carzinc.ai/sms-terms.
We protect your information with encryption in transit, access controls that limit staff to what their job requires, and secure sign-in. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you as the law requires if a breach affects you.
We keep account information while your account is open. Vehicle, inspection and transaction records are business records that we keep as long as needed for our operations and legal obligations.
Depending on where you live, state law (for example, California's CCPA) may give you additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to request deletion. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. Email support@carzinc.ai to make a request.
You can delete your account yourself, from inside the app, at any time. Open the app, tap the person icon on the home screen (buyers: Account at the top of the marketplace), then Delete my account. The deletion is immediate and permanent — there is no separate deactivation, and you do not need to contact us first. Step-by-step instructions are at carzinc.ai/delete-account.
Deleting your account removes your sign-in, your phone number, your profile and contact details, your saved billing information, and the text messages we hold for your number. Any vehicle you are holding is released. Records of work performed on a vehicle (inspections, repairs, lot scans) and of completed transactions are retained as business records, with your name removed from the former; see Data Retention above.
The Service is for businesses and adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date above. If a change affects how we use your mobile number, we will tell you before it takes effect.
